Barwon Heads Golf Course is a links style course set in the midst of tea trees and sand dunes. Undulating, with slick greens and fast running fairways, it is one of the toughest golf courses in Victoria. The bunkers are strategically located to throw that little extra spanner in the works, and there is also plenty of impact from the winds off Bass Strait. Eighteen hole rounds can be arranged any time during the week, excluding public holidays. Although rather expensive, it is worth the outlay for golfing aficionados looking for a real challenge.
