Arabic and Turkish cuisine may be best known for kebabs, dips and other savory dishes, but Middle Eastern countries also offer fabulous desserts, as Constantinople Cakes would like to point out. There is a range of imported lollies, pastries and cakes, such as spanakopita (a spinach and feta pastry), or tiropita (a kind of cheese pie). Coffee is also served. As you would expect from a store largely patronized by the local Middle Eastern community, all food is prepared in line with halal standards.
