A few years ago when some independent booksellers were finding it hard, Cosmos expanded to a second shop at 160 Acland Street, called Metropolis. There is a thematic organisation to the two shop fronts. You will find fiction, children's, food and wine, biography or anything general in nature at number 112. Metropolis houses the more technical books, ranging from design to computers. This is only a loose description. For instance, poetry is to be found at Metropolis. CDs are located at the Cosmos store.
