Upmarket cafe in historic building |
205 Nelson Place Melbourne, VIC 3016 +61 (0)3 9397 6040 |
Located in the historic Williamstown Advertiser Building (circa 1875), original home of the Advertiser Newspaper, the facade includes a frieze depicting Claxton, the inventor of the printing press. You can sit in the cosy interior or outside at the pavement cafes and watch the passersby. Specialising in light meals, particularly for brunch and lunch, the menu includes pancake stacks, salads, pasta, various Asian dishes and fresh fish. There is a special children's menu and a range of delectable cakes. Review © 2009, Wcities |
