Although a little way out of the city centre, this tourist Mecca is worth a visit for its great variety of Australian souvenirs. Products range from clothing such as jackets, ugg boots, moccasins, T-shirts and woollen underwear to quilts, blankets, leather bags, boomerangs and lanolin products. Since shoppers are buying directly from the manufacturer/wholesaler, prices are very reasonable. The range of soft toys, such as koalas and kangaroos, is very good.
