Operated by the Australian Islamic Womens' Association, this little store sells a variety of fashions for the modern Muslim woman, from head scarves to flowing gowns and veils. The multilingual staff of volunteers can help you choose your garments, and offer advice, as well as make alterations. The store also stocks a small selection of educational books, posters and videos on Islam, and the role of women in Islamic society, to counter what many of the women perceive to be exaggerated and outdated stereotypes about Muslim women.
