Although Natural Tucker breads are now available in health food stores across Melbourne, paying a visit to this small, rustic bakery and buying the loaves fresh from the oven is a real treat. Only freshly stone-ground organic and bio-dynamic flour is used and all breads are leavened with genuine sourdough and baked in a wood-fried oven. No yeast, animal products (including eggs and dairy), cane sugar or additives are used. The Schwarzbrot, a delicious and hearty little brick of a rye bread, is completely wheat-free.
