With its unfinished, rough brick facade, this bar/café and band venue aims for a rustic chic look. It draws an upmarket, but relaxed crowd who come to sit at the well-stocked bar, eat in the adjoining café or see a band or DJ. Its prime location, on the intersection of bohemian Brunswick and Johnston Streets, makes it a popular people watching spot. With plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants nearby it is an ideal meeting-point. The coffee shop serves standard café food but is particularly famous for its French pastries and cakes.
