Set amongst rows of Victorian terrace houses, this vine-covered establishment is popular with locals for its fine food and takeaways. The tables are small and have a view into the kitchen, creating an atmosphere at once reminiscent of a cafeteria and the home kitchen of a professional chef. The menu changes seasonally but will always include many tempting dishes, such as lamb curry, risottos and creative salads (AUD10-AUD16.90). If you are passing by, drop in for a coffee and muffin (AUD2.75) or freshly made sandwich (AUD5.50). The weekend brunch menu is very popular with locals.
