An authentic taste of home for Melbourne's Russian community can be found in this small but busy shop. Russian Tidbits primarily sells small goods, such as traditional sausage and smoked meats, but also has an intriguing array of pickles and tinned fish. Colorful jars of pickled peppers, dill cucumbers and red cabbage sit next to hot paprika relish and preserved fungus. There is also a range of richly colored berry jams, as well as cheese, sauerkraut and herring.
