Grown and harvested in the Yarra Valley is the beautiful, aromatic and medicinal flower, lavender. On the second Sunday in November, there is a festival to celebrate the completion of the lavender harvest, with all proceeds going to the Anti-Cancer Council. Following the harvest until mid-March, the farm is bustling with activity while the drying and stripping of the lavender is completed. The entire farm, including the drying shed, is open for public viewing and education. A variety of fresh and packaged lavender goods are also available for sale. Enjoy a picnic on the grounds.
