The Memphis Runners Track Club stages this run, exactly half the length of the Olympic Marathon, every year in late March. It is the State Championship event, but is open to all interested enthusiasts. The route winds through the lovely suburb of Germantown, so you can admire the large houses and well-landscaped yards as you run through this suburban setting.
