Huge mall with 170+ dealers |
3400 Summer Avenue (1 block west of North Highland) Memphis, TN 38122 United States +1 901 323 2050 |
This 40,000 square foot antique mall is located on the slightly seedy Summer Avenue strip on the north side of Memphis, which may account for the fact that the prices here are more reasonable than those at some of the antique shops in trendier areas such as midtown. More than 170 independent dealers operate booths in this mall, guaranteeing that you will find an eclectic array of every conceivable type of antique and collectible, from furniture to pottery, fine jewelry to bric-a-brac and knick-knacks. Look particularly for southern memorabilia such as Coca-Cola promotional items or relics from Memphis' music history. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Treasure hunter's delight |
3457 Summer Avenue Memphis, TN 38122 United States +1 901 452 5620 |
A long narrow shop in an old strip mall, this is the kind of place for treasure hunters to spend an afternoon. No particular theme can be discerned for most of the booths; any sort of antique might be found. A lot of furniture, old photographs and prints, and a few small tapestries can be found. Several booth spaces have religious prints . One display cabinet features a collection of swords; others have folding cameras dating back to the early twentieth century. Although the shop is not brightly lit, it has roomy enough aisles to move about and get a good look at the merchandise. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Everything from junk to treasures |
438 North Cleveland Avenue (North of Poplar) Memphis, TN 38104 United States +1 901 276 3333 |
Plan to spend several hours browsing through the stalls and aisles of this permanent "flea market." There is no telling what you'll find in the trays of old jewelry, the stacks of bright crockery and the collections of old cameras, watches and kitchen implements. Treasures lurk in, on and under the shelves, tables, and stands full of all kinds of items salvaged from someone's attic or garage. Whatever you collect, you're likely to find one here, whether it is figures from Occupied Japan, trading cards from your youth or the perfect picture for that difficult spot on the staircase wall. Open weekends only. Review © 2007, Wcities |
