This 15-acre park offers jogging trails, picnic shelters, a playground, fishing, camping, hiking, and a bird and wildlife sanctuary amid lush tropical greenery. The park also features The Sense of Wonder Nature Center, which hosts nature study programs and special events aimed at promoting a greater awareness and appreciation of nature's beauty. Guided tours of nature sites, as well as snorkeling, canoe, and walking tours at numerous Miami-Dade Park locations, are also available through the Center. Review © 2009, Wcities |
