Take a trip to Claughton Island for an evening out and make this neighborhood brasserie your dining destination. It is popular amongst the pre-theatre/pre-sports events crowd. Pasta dishes make delicious entrees, but make sure to save room for dessert. Giant bon bons may prove irresistible. Try Linguine with White Clam Sauce or Agnolotti Alegria (stuffed with ricotta). French onion soup is a fabulous starter. The crowds are biggest in the earlier hours (6p-8p). The brasserie is fairly upscale, so you may not want to wear your scruffiest clothes.
