Don Shula's Golf Club is an oasis - a refuge from the stresses of everyday life, set in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The Golf Club's 84 rooms serve as a special place for a golf retreat or an enclave for the hurried business traveler. The 18-hole Championship Golf Course, newly redesigned and meeting USGA standards, features both tree-lined fairways and the natural look of South Florida, with native plant and animal wildlife. The Championship Golf Course serves as a stern test for the advanced golfer, while allowing the everyday player a fair round. This layout is fairly flat in design but still very interesting. With water on 10 holes and tight fairways that are tree-lined with majestic oaks, cypress, and magnolias, controlled flight on tee shots is imperative. This tract provides a splendid look at the natural everglades view of South Florida.
