Join Miami's Latin community for one of largest parties of the year. This elaborate nine-day celebration includes musical performances by some of the greatest Latin artists, along with several other festivities. The highlight of the event is the Miss Carnival Contest, a beauty and talent competition featuring 30 Spanish-speaking young women. Since the first Orange Bowl Parade in 1936, spectators have grown to some 250,000 viewers. A national broadcast of the two-hour procession brings the magic and excitement to the homes of millions. Locals and visitors prefer to bring the whole family to witness the event live, in celebration of the New Year.
