Hillcrest Country Club is an excellent mid-level course which is centrally located to Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The course underwent an extensive renovation in mid 2001. New management in 2002 is making tremendous improvements to the clubhouse and eating areas. This beautiful tree-lined 18-hole championship course, with no homes on the fairways, once hosted the Doral Open and Honda Classic qualifying rounds. Number 18 is their signature hole, a par 4 dogleg left that finishes on a very playable island green. Joe Lee did the redesign over an original 1966 Devlin/Von Hagge design.
