Formerly Bayshore, the course has undergone a comprehensive renovation under the direction of Arthur Hills. The club is now being transformed into a high-end daily fee facility that is adjacent to the most popular hotels on Miami Beach. In 2002, the city chose the architectural firm of Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest & Associates for a massive remodeling. No portion of the golf course was left untouched, including new tees, greens, recontoured fairways, cart paths, bunker construction, a new irrigation system, landscaping and lakes. The course was closed for more than fourteen months and the $6.5 million in major improvements has created a dazzling jewel in a city of gems. Rates range from USD 90 to USD 200.
