The Miami International Book Fair began in 1984 and has since then become the largest book fair in the nation attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each November. The fair has the 'Children's Alley' which includes storytelling, arts and crafts, and more events to involve the readers of tomorrow. There is the popular 'Congress of Authors' where over 300 distinguished authors give presentations and hold discussion panels.
