Spectacular food and warm, personable service make this tiny, family-owned Vietnamese restaurant a Coral Gables jewel. Authentic Vietnamese decoration matches the aodia (brightly-colored long dresses) worn by the wait staff. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. Start out with a seafood noodle soup, adjusted to your preference of spiciness. Main courses include caramelized prawns and lemongrass crispy fish. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. Of course, you may hear tunes from the restaurant's namesake Andrew Lloyd Webber musical every once in a while, but that only adds to Miss Saigon's charm. Review © 2009, Wcities |
