Designed by Arnold Palmer for major golf tournaments, this 27 hole course is spectacular both as a result of the course itself as well as the countryside which surrounds it. There is also a nine hole golf course which is very good too despite being reduced in size. The Castello di Tolcinasco, a classic example of rustic architecture is a beautiful, exclusive and refined building which offers its members an elegant interior and cordial atmosphere. There is a practise ground, a golf shop, golf cars, golf instructors, creche, snack bar, restaurant, pool and tennis courts to round off the facilities that this complex offers. This is an excellent 18 hole golf course. It has many little lakes dotted around which affect the style and rhythm of play in an interesting and challenging way. There is a practice ground, a pro shop, golf buggies are available, and a bar and restaurant are the icing on the cake of this course which is situated only 15km from Milan. To get there take the A7 Milan-Genova Autostrada and exit at Binasco driving towards Bubbiano arriving at Cascina Bertacca. It is open all year round (closed in August). Review © 2007, Wcities |
