Everything for travel |
13 Via Ludovico Muratori Milan 20135 Italy +39 0254121270 |
This shop is a paradise for travelers and all those who love adventure. The name comes from the famous Saint-Exupéry book, 'The little prince': B612 was his own star in the book. Here you will find all you can need for your treks in the jungle or in the Tibetan mountains, and also for your jaunts in the Milanese countryside of course. There are accessories of all kinds, such as a collapsible steel cup, that becomes also a little pot for your camp meals; trousers and jackets with infinite numbers of pockets, mini kits for sewing, tents and rather light mattress that are so small that you can take them with you in your bag without any problems. You can get of all this at very good prices. There is also a travel agency service to help you to organize your best route as well as the internet café, where using a prepaid card, you can start your navigation all around the world.... Old toys in the suburbs |
27 Ripa di Porta Ticinese Milan, Milan 20100 Italy +39 2 832 2103 |
Signor Franzini is not just a collector of old objects but an expert on toys and pastimes from the past. In Ripa di Porta Ticinese, he runs a shop where you will find goods of completely different types: tables, chairs, chests of drawers, dumb waiters, but most of all, pre-WW2 toys such as dolls, pinball tables, teddy bears, puppets, board games, Milanese dolls from the '40's and 50's, rocking horses and superb puppet theatres that would make any modern child wild with happiness. These are collector's items and they make lovely presents for those who love old articles. Review © 2007, Wcities |

An old Milan toymaker |
17 Via Giuseppe Meda Milan, Milan 20136 Italy +39 2 837 6280 |
A toy shop like this one is a rare sight; the place is very small, tiny windows, and it is difficult to move once inside as you are surrounded by high chairs, footballs and dolls. But il Cucciolo is one of those shops where you feel you have stepped back in time, rediscovering the child in you that will not cease to be amazed. Models are this shop's speciality, (trains, cars and materials for war items) and items for early infancy with a vast range of Chicco toys. The Lenci dolls are a special touch, historical and very expensive. Review © 2007, Wcities |
