3 Via Gesu Milan, Milan 20121 Italy +39 2 552 2881 http://www.acquadiparma.it/ |
This brand-name has existed since the age of the Gonzaga dynasty. In the early part of the twentieth century, when it was only the strong German perfumes that dominated the industry, Acqua di Parma established its foothold in the market by introducing a new fragrance of citrus fruits that became so popular that they had to expand the distribution system. It continues to prevail as a much sought-after brand even today. Visit the store to pamper your senses with sweet fragrances, or to find a gift for that special someone. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Sandwiches in a hurry! |
23 Corso Vercelli Milan, Milan 20144 Italy +39 2 481 4032 |
The "Panini della Bagi" is an unusual place, and was opened to cater to the needs of the type of clientele which frequents Corso Vercelli, one of the most famous shopping streets in Milan. It is visited by American, Japanese, and English tourists who stop in front of all the shop windows to admire the high quality Italian clothing. They don't have much time left to eat! The sandwiches sold here" are a good alternative to hamburgers and fast food. You have to eat them standing up as there are no tables in the shop. It also sells home-made style cakes, and first and second courses as well as side dishes, which change every day. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Paper is all its various forms |
4 Via San Maurilio Milan, Milan 20100 Italy +39 2 86 5221 |
You can tell from the name that this store is totally dedicated to paper. It is extremely smart, a delicious shop in one of the secret, hidden side roads in the Via Torino area, selling a vast range of paper based products: wrapping paper from the East, frames in all kinds of different materials, notebooks on blackboards, diaries for your travel journals and the most sought after writing paper. The real goodies though are the boxes or bags for sweets, which are selling incredibly well: made of either material or paper, they are simple but unique in their decoration and shape, and would delight any bride.
