One of the oldest bars in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, the 400 Bar has earned a reputation for providing reliable, top-notch indie and alternative rock. Renovated in 1997, the club increased the size of the stage, eliminating obstructions that prohibited a clear view and improved sound quality. Get there early because the popularity of this cozy showroom for local bands packs them in. If you're late, you will find yourself waiting outside hoping someone will leave to make room for you.
