Tucked away in the back of an old building in downtown Minneapolis, this diner is definitely off the beaten track but far from a well-kept secret. The relaxed two-cook operation serves only breakfast and lunch during the week, but from the way they pack them in, most wish the hours were extended. Coffee, juice, rolls, eggs and toast are enjoyed by the early risers but lunch is the real treat. Inexpensive and tasty, lunch specials range from a barbecue pork sandwich piled high on an onion baguette with cole slaw to a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
