The Minnesota Fringe Festival has been around since 1994, and this eleven day live extravaganza continues to enthrall audiences annually even today. Puppet shows, storytelling, theater, dance, and visual arts are a few of the events queued up in the tight schedule. There is no jury to judge, so all your catcalls and whistles are the only forms of criticism the performers face. It is believed that in 2004, there were 176 different performing arts companies and individual artists in 21 venues staging 902 different performances!
