An authentic, boisterous German beer garden awaits behind the large wooden doors. Leaded-glass windows, Tiffany-style lamps, elaborately painted walls and the high, beamed ceiling lend an old world atmosphere. Dine to the tunes of the strolling accordionists.The veal in mushroom wine gravy served with bread dumplings and vegetables or a thick smoked pork chop served with potato salad and sauerkraut, topped off with a side of red cabbage, is true German fare. Traditional German-style rabbit marinated and braised in a sweet and sour sauce, bratwurst, sauerbraten aspic, Polish sausage and Weiner Schnitzel are other menu highlights.
