Stay Near State Legislators |
161 St Anthony Ave Minneapolis, MN 55103 United States +1 651 227 8711 http://book.bestwestern.com/be... |
While its proximity to the Minnesota State Capitol has made this Best Western a favorite among government officials, you certainly do not have to be a politician to stay here. Guest rooms are roomy and comfortable, but lack the bells and whistles of some of the city's finer establishments. The hotel's proximity to downtown makes this a low-cost alternative to downtown hotels. Review © 2007, Wcities |

St. Paul's only floating bed-and-breakfast |
100 Yacht Club Road (Pier I Harriet Island B3) Minneapolis, MN 55107 United States +1 651 292 1411 http://www.covingtoninn.com towboat@mninter.net |
This innovative inn was originally built as a towboat in 1946, but since 1995, the tug has served as a floating bed-and-breakfast, offering five distinctive staterooms and an experience guests will not soon forget. The Pilot House suite is the hotel's premiere suite. The bedroom on the second deck affords you all the privacy and comfort you need. For a room with a view, head up the private stairway to the Wheel House. While the original captain's wheel and brass controls are interesting, the real story is the view of St. Paul's skyline, just outside the window. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Located in the historic Ramsey Hill neighborhood of St. Paul, this charming place is perfect for a short stay. Close to downtown, this old brick mansion was once a wedding gift. The interior has an old world charm to it with wooden flooring and glass cabinets. Rooms have king size beds, a fire place and private bathrooms. Review © 2007, Wcities |
