Reputedly the oldest operating bar in the state of Minnesota (it has not closed since 1887), with the oldest fixtures, this is a cozy stop for nostalgia buffs. The grand wooden bar with its mirrored backdrop, the punched tin ceiling, and the frogs in the display window pond all add to the relaxed atmosphere. Live music on occasion graces the small outdoor area and the new small indoor stage. Enjoy a variety of burgers and hot and cold sandwiches for lunch and dinner, with daily specials.
