The Twin Cities area is blessed with some of the most extensive and attractive urban gardens in the country. This lovely garden on Lake Minnetonka's Crystal Bay in Wayzata, once a private paradise, is now a Hennepin County park. It is actually many gardens in one. There is a collection of more than 1,000 daily daylily cultivars, a grape arbor and an azalea collection, as well as many perennials and annuals. The formal flower gardens are designed and maintained by master gardeners. Like other gardens in the Twin Cities, many weddings take place at this peaceful retreat overlooking scenic Lake Minnetonka.
