The roar of the engine, the smell of gasoline and the occasional crunch of metal are just a few of the sights, sounds and smells experienced at Raceway Park. High-powered machines are maneuvered around the quarter mile track by skilled drivers as their high-energy pit crews keep the cars humming. Located two miles east of Valleyfair Amusement Park with an asphalt track designed for late models, hobby stock cars and figure eight races, many of the area's top drivers are frequently on the race card. Raceway Park has specially modified stock cars that are available for rent. The racetrack is open from May through mid-September. Days and times vary based on the schedule of events.
