This is possibly the finest Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities. Family-owned and run, the Rainbow boasts time-tested recipes and a rich interior. Seafood is one of the specialties of the house, but the place does a lot for vegetarians, too. Pan-fried vegetable dumplings make the perfect appetizer. Start off with one of the many noodle soups or cashew salad. Duckling or beef with mustard greens, sliced chicken with peapods, water chestnuts and baby carrots and tempura-style prawns with broccoli and red curry sauce are highlights of a diverse and delectable menu.
