The food is highly seasoned with herbs, garlic, citrus, hot chilies and aromatic roots like ginger and turmeric. An appetizer of deep-fried bamboo shoots stuffed with ground pork and black mushrooms or a papaya salad will prepare your taste buds. Fowl and fish highlight the entrée choices.
