Located in a formidable brick building, the Lex (as locals call it) has been serving high-class food in an even fancier dining room since the 1930s. Dinners such as the walleye almondine and prime rib are perfect for special occasions. There is a steady stream of regulars who have been coming here for a very reliably good lunch that is actually quite reasonable. Dinners are more expensive, though also quite expansive with several sides that are meals in and of themselves. Dishes are prepared to be suitable for all tastes, and special requests are gladly accommodated by the very friendly and patient waitstaff.
