Just off the Lumber Exchange Building's glorious two-story marble lobby rests this small eatery. Early risers come at opening for a quick breakfast of tasty pastries, muffins, coffee and juice. Be prepared for a worthwhile wait at lunch as the crowd lines up for what is perhaps the best gyro in town. Eat like a Greek god, digging into a generous pile of seasoned beef and lamb on a warm pita topped with a cool cucumber-yogurt sauce and a handful of lettuce and tomatoes. Get a garden-fresh tabbouleh to go with the fabulous two-fisted gyro sandwich and you have one delicious, healthy fast-food lunch. Soups, salads and deli sandwiches round out the menu.
