Right on the water |
720 Cannery Row (@ Prescott St) Monterey and Carmel, CA 93940 United States +1 831 373 1884 |
With dishes like Dumb Luck Coconut Shrimp and Lt. Dan's Drunken Shrimp, and specialty drinks like the Lava Flow and the Bayou Surprise, this shrimp restaurant in Cannery Row attracts tourists from all over, as well shrimp-lovin' locals. The place is usually packed and noisy, making for a great night out amidst the lights. The place has its own line of hats, shirts and other souvenirs. You will never find a wider variety of shrimp dishes anywhere else, and the service is excellent. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Huge shopping mall |
1410 Del Monte Center (Hwy 1 at the corner of Munras Ave) Monterey and Carmel, CA 93940 United States +1 831 373 2705 |
This shopping mall encompasses more than 600,000-square-feet of retail space filled with just about everything you could possibly want. This is not really an upscale touristy place like The Barnyard in nearby Carmel. It is your basic, run-of-the-mill suburban mall. You will find a Macy's, a Mervyn's, bookstores, art galleries, eateries, lots of clothing stores, gift shops, stationers and more. Make a day of it at this shopping Mecca. Review © 2007, Wcities |
