The restaurant has traditional Japanese decor and cuisine. The sushi bar is run by a master sushi chef with years of training. He concocts over 30 different kinds of sushi with the accuracy of a fine jeweler. In addition to the lunch boxes and dinner boxes, it offers a variety of tempura, noodle, and seafood dishes, all cheap. A variety of sakes are available, most of which tip the scales around $15 a bottle. The service is great and the place attracts all kinds of people, both tourists and locals. Review © 2007, Wcities

This is an oasis for the traveling sushi sophisticate. Exceptionally fresh fish is crafted into a dazzling array of traditional and speciality sushi and sashimi. Tempura, teriyaki and udon round out the menu, and edamame (green soybeans) and nasu (eggplant with sweet sauce) should start off every meal. A wide selection of sake is available, as well. The decor is as slick, urban, and contemporary as any in Los Angeles, but the service is competent and gracious in the most traditional Japanese manner. Review © 2007, Wcities
