A classy, popular sushi joint in the heart of Outremont, Maiko impresses with immaculate sushi creations and excellent interpretations of other Japanese standards — tempura, steak, and so on. The sparsely decorated but affecting décor features a sushi bar and crisp white tablecloths, and the service, while sometimes a tad slow, is always friendly and well-informed.
