Now standing in the ultramodern shadow of the IBM building, this striking neo-Gothic church was completed in 1843. Though the bells are no longer in use, the impressive and unusual clock still tells impeccable time in the bell tower. The interior contains many interesting and beautiful innovations: an open concept space without support columns, intricate woodwork and an architecturally revolutionary roof structure. This church is a wonderful example of downtown Montreal's combination of old and new architecture. Review © 2009, Wcities
