This popular Italian throwback is as warm, cozy and unpretentious as they come; which is to say that it is totally out of place on trendy Crescent Street. Eschewing the glitter of surrounding restaurants and nightclubs, the kitchen and staff here focus on Italian comfort food in traditional (bordering on kitschy) surroundings. Start with Prosciutto and Melon (CAD7.95) and move on to hearty standard pasta dishes (CAD9.95-11.95), risottos (CAD12.50-15.95), veal and chicken dishes (Veal Marsala, CAD15.50), seafood (Scampi Provencalie, CAD29.95) and steaks.
