The atmosphere isn't particularly exciting and the furnishings not exceptionally attractive, but anyone who enjoys really good Asian food should pay a visit to this unobtrusive restaurant. It is reputed to be the oldest Indonesian restaurant in Munich (since 1966), and offers tasty ethnic fare, although the choice of dishes is not as broad as in other Asian restaurants. Each of the three aforementioned countries are represented.

Quotations by Lao Tse inside the menu, comfortable couches, spaciously placed tables, asiatic food, chinese tea, a great variety of rum and whiskey and fully filled up cocktail glasses - the Hong Kong Bar. Not as fast as the former colony of the crown.

+49 89 272 0962 A popular Chinese restaurant. Inside, it's like Asian kitsch never went out of fashion. The customers are a mixed bag and lap up the food which, a favorite among locals. There's a huge menu but little variety, featuring many soy sauce-y and 'five spice' dishes. Students or tourists in need of a fast fix will find it handy and fulfilling. Prices are cheap and the staff very friendly.

http://www.hotel-ritzi.de An elegant and sophisticated place with a long bar and numerous works of art. The food is international with a definite Mediterranean influence; the fish dishes and desserts are particularly good. The trendy, nouveau riche clientele that patronise the restaurant includes numerous TV celebrities (Bogenhausen is just around the corner). The staff can sometimes appear a little too self-important for their own good however. Hot food is available from 6:30a-3p and from 6p-midnight.
