This café does resemble an aquarium with its huge windows, sixties style decor, long bar, high terrace and the music playing just a little too loud. During the day, it is full of school kids and businessmen and in the evening the younger party crowd start pouring in. Much thought has gone into the design of this restaurant (modern and simple, yet excellent) to ensure it runs with the minimum of fuss. The same high quality is to be found in the food, the style of which is difficult to summarize in one word, as it takes in the best aspects from many different world cuisines. The set menus are highly recommended, each one providing a real culinary tour of the globe. Service is top class, being friendly and competent; meals can also be eaten outside in summertime. Located next to the River Isar, this bar and restaurant looks like something out of colonial times. Delicious Caribbean drinks and Creole food are prepared according to traditional recipes, so only come if you like your food a bit different. The age of the clientele ranges from early thirties to late forties and there's a bit of a traveller's atmosphere about the place.
