One good reason to visit Sonoma during July would be the Catalan Festival, where you can get acquainted with the Spanish culture and language. All said and done, the actual reason why people come to this festival is the food, wine and music. Spanish delicacies and beverages stream in from all over the Bay Area. Flamenco music lights up the atmosphere, and all the fun and excitement generated by the dance is surely something you wouldn't want to miss. You're sure to bump into someone making a deliberate attempt to put on a Catalan accent. There's so much to look forward to, that it becomes necessary to book in advance. So hurry up and reserve your entry. Admission: USD40 per person.
