Hard day at work? Need to unwind? Then this shop is for you. The best selection of wines can be found under this roof. Yet this shop offers more. There are a few wines for tasting at all times and also a lot of theme nights, like Friday Night Wine Flights, Guest Wineries at Back Room Wines on Saturdays and sit-down blind tastings on Wednesdays. And you can even buy a bottle of wine at retail price and drink it here. So if tea is all you drink, then here is a suggestion. Try a bit of wine, or just sip it. It's free!

At Pilar, located in downtown Napa, innovation is the name of the game. The lunch menu, while paying homage to home cookin' with items as simple as a ham 'n' cheese sandwich, also features inventions as exotic as crab tostadas and lamb lasagna. At dinner, meals are a bit less linguistically whimsical, but no less elegant. Venison flank steak, pan-fried sand dabs and day boat scallops are just a few of the choice offerings you might find on a visit to this culinary mecca. Dessert brings a whole selection of favorites, once again perked up with helpings of fresh fruit and other bits of goodness. Don't forget the expertly assembled beer and wine lists. Also, Pilar offers cooking class for a $35 fee. Visit their website for details.
