Chic yet unpretentious, the cozy interior contains brick walls, huge arched windows, high ceilings and colorful paintings. On a sunny day, join locals and tourists at one of the outdoor tables fronting Napa Creek. Lunch includes delectable dishes like the Grilled Tombo Tuna Salad with Macadamia Nuts and the notable Oyster Po' Boy. Specialty dinner items include the Jerked Pork Chop with Black Beans and the daily fish special. There is an extensive wine list (USD15 corkage fee).

Their specialties include Miso soup, Roasted Winter Mushrooms, Braised Beef Short Ribs and crispy mouth-watering Pork Belly. The lighting in the restaurant is nice and creates a romantic atmosphere. The comfortable seating and cozy bar would tempt one to pay a second visit. The restaurant is run by Ed Metcalfe who has 25 years of experience in the food business...and this certainly shows in the food and service offered here. The staff is very friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile.

With an uncompromising wine list that includes a 1997 Marcassin Chardonnay at USD195 and a menu with hits like Roast Rabbit with Mustard Cream and Braised Milk-fed Veal Shanks with White Wine, it is hard to go wrong. This is a relaxed but sophisticated bistro where you can dine outside in the garden by the fountain or have an intimate meal inside. It is an excellent and eclectic place with dynamite service.
