The Anderson's Conn Valley has 26 acres of vineyards, divided into nine blocks. These produce above 16,000 cases annually. What is unique about this place is the extended time of barrel-aging in two underground caves. This premier winery was founded in 1972 by winemaker Bernard Portet, a descendant of Bordeaux wine merchants and he was trained in that region. The same wine was awarded first place in a rematch in 1986. The facility includes a charming ivy-draped stone tasting room and a spacious shaded picnic area.
