Chinese restaurant |
Via Dei Sei Martiri Naples 80122 Italy +39 81 68 0061 |
The restaurant is set in a tiny street at the crossroads of the Riviera di Chiaia, very near the Largo Torretta. This means it is not always immediately visible. It is therefore advisable to get there on foot as parking outside is virtually impossible. The interior is small, but friendly and evocative. Aside from the stylish decor, there is a large well-lit and well-presented aquarium which is visible from all parts of the restaurant. The menu here offers a representative selection of all the main Chinese dishes. Prices for a single course are very reasonable, and it will be even more inexpensive if you choose from the set menu which the restaurant recommends. This is generally only available for lunch. Pizzeria and restaurant in the central Vomero area |
Via Cimarosa, Portici Naples 80127 Italy +39 81 578 5362 |
The restaurant is average size, and is furnished in a simple way, which makes it functional and comfortable. There is good service in a cordial, friendly atmosphere. Although there is not such a wide choice on the menu, it is nonetheless complete, and offers typical regional dishes and the main national foods. The starters and main courses are all good, but the true specialty here is pizza which is prepared in a traditional way as well as in more original ways with beans and pasta. It is advisable to use public transport to come here, especially during the day, because of the restaurant's central position and the lack of parking spaces in this area. Review © 2007, Wcities |

The central location of this restaurant makes it easily accessible either by car (preferably in the evening) or by public transport. Founded in 1936, this pizzeria is definitely one of the most folkloristic and photogenic in the whole of Naples. In fact, due to its location in the heart of the historic city center, it has come to represent the archetypal Neopolitan pizzeria which has become the subject of many documentaries and films. One of these was 'Maccaroni' by Jack Lemon and Marcello Mastroianni. Obviously, pizzas are the specialty here. They are prepared according to all the traditional recipes but you can also get delicious, personalized variations, prepared for you by the resident pizza chef. Review © 2007, Wcities |
