The name of this restaurant suits its location near the boats at Borgo Marinaro. The building is in a Liberty style and has beautiful windows, overlooking the sea. It has four dining rooms, all with at least 100 places. They are perfect for hosting business meetings because of their large size and the fact that they are equipped with video projectors and amplifiers. In the Transatlantico it is possible to try all types of Mediterranean cuisine. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. This is a typical Neapolitan trattoria, furnished in a rustic, but elegant style with fishing nets hanging from the ceiling. The walls are covered with frescoes representing ancient Naples. The trattoria is air-conditioned and has two floors. The lower floor is a pizzeria. It often has Neapolitan singers and a Panariello (small basket), which is used to lower your bill from the first floor to the ground floor. You can eat outside in the summer. The cuisine is typically Neapolitan - this is especially the case with the Pizzas. The Pignatielli are excellent, especially those made with tomato, ham and buffalo mozzarella.
