This stadium has the capacity to seat up to 10,000 spectators and it plays host to the Pacific Coast League and Southern League baseball games. The TACA Fall Crafts Fair is a fantastic outdoor event that showcases and sells the work of American fine craft artists. Having started in 1978, this annual event attracts more than 45 000 people to Centennial Park to view works by almost 200 of the finest craftspeople from across the nation. This craft fair is a key event at Nashville's Centennial Park, held the last weekend in September. TACA's Fall Fair offers shoppers the opportunity to meet and talk with exhibiting artists, eat and drink from an international food court, enjoy live music and children's activities. Held every year since 1972, the TACA Spring Craft Fair features among the Southeast Tourism Society's top 20 events in Nashville. The event offers Tennessee craftspeople a platform to showcase their talents. A wide variety of artworks — handicrafts, paintings, jewelry, photography, weaving and more — are put on display at the Centennial Park. After browsing you can drink and eat to your heart's content from the concession stands, and listen to the live music. Admission is free. This fest is named after Tin Pan Alley, an area in New York, which has many music makers' offices. Organized by the NSAI, Tin Pan South is a festival devoted to the mastery of talented songwriters. Held across various venues in Nashville, this is your chance to catch some of the best songsmiths like Donna Summer, Garth Brooks, Art Garfunkel and many, many more. There is also a songwriters' symposium held apart from all the concerts. Visitors can enjoy the different performances spanning diverse genres like rock, country and pop. The Vanderbilt Stadium of the Commodores seats upto 39,790 sports fans, and was built in 1922. It is located in the heart of the campus, and also has an enviable 17,000 square foot pressbox, with four levels and two elevators.
